I am a multi-disciplinary artist who works with writing, theatre, film, animation, painting, sculpture, spatial design and installation. My practice focusses on narrative processes and is often site specific, engaging with place and landscape. I work in urban and remote areas with individuals, artists, educators, scientists, Indigenous Ranger groups and communities from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I have worked with a variety of organisations and cultural institutions, as well as instigating collaborative community cultural development projects with multiple stakeholders. My cultural background is Austrian and Sri Lankan Burgher, I am a first generation Australian.
I live and work on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, on the lands of the Gooolarabooloo, Yawuru, Gooniyandi, Walmajarri, Wangkatjungka, Bunuba, Kija, Karajarri, Nyul Nyul and Bardi Jawi people. I pay my respects to the Elders of these lands and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples past, present and future. I acknowledge that my work takes place on stolen lands and that sovereignty was never ceded.
